Frequently Asked Questions
We'd rather you go in fully informed than surprised. Here's everything worth knowing before you book.
Booking & Payment
-
Via our booking page, where you’ll make your room selection and pay the $250 deposit fee.
Spots are confirmed in writing from us — if you haven't received that confirmation, your place is not yet secured.
-
You can pay in full ($6,333) for a single room. Or split it into 3 payments of $2,028 or 6 payments of $1,014.00.
Or you can pay in full ($4,333) for a shared room. Or split it into 3 payments of $1,361 or 6 payments of $680.50.
All payment plans must be paid in full no later than 90 days after you receive your invoice. If payment isn't completed by then, we can't guarantee your spot.
-
All prices are in US dollars (USD). We accept all major debit and credit cards through our payment processor. Your statement will show a charge from MPR Circle LLC d.b.a. The Italian Reset.
-
Use the full name exactly as it appears on the government-issued travel document you'll use for Italy. Double-check this before submitting — we can't be held responsible for incorrect information you provide, and corrections need to happen before your reservation is confirmed.
-
No — only one confirmation email goes to the email address used at checkout. Make sure both of you have access to that information.
Cancellation & Refunds
-
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to ciao@theitalianreset.com with your name, booking number, and scheduled start date. A cancellation is only official once you receive written confirmation from us. Here's what the fees look like:
42+ days before the trip: We keep the non-refundable deposit plus 30% of your trip fee.
31–41 days before: We keep the deposit plus 50% of your trip fee.
21–30 days before: We keep the deposit plus 80% of your trip fee.
20 days or less: We keep the deposit plus 100% of your trip fee.
This is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. It's not optional advice — it's real protection for a real investment.
-
Rescheduling to the next available tour date is possible, but it's at our discretion and not guaranteed. We can't promise a spot will be available on a future date.
All payment plans must be paid in full no later than 90 days after you receive your invoice. If payment isn't completed by then, we can't guarantee your spot.
-
We guarantee the retreat runs once 8 or more guests have confirmed their spots. If we cancel for any reason, you're entitled to a reimbursement of what you paid us. We're not responsible for non-refundable flights, travel insurance, or other costs you've incurred separately.
-
In cases of force majeure (severe weather, strikes, road conditions, and similar), we may adjust the itinerary while maintaining the overall duration and quality. We won't be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
Travel Documents & Logistics
-
That depends on your passport and country of residence. It's your responsibility to make sure you have all valid travel documents — passport, visa if required, and any other permits — before you travel. We can't be held liable for denied entry due to documentation issues.
-
Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Check your country's requirements well in advance. Our accommodation partner may also ask for a copy of your passport photo page — we'll let you know if that's needed.
-
No. Flights are your responsibility to book independently based on your airline preference, frequent flier miles, and budget. We'll give you all the information you need for arrival and departure logistics.
-
We arrange one airport pickup on the retreat's start date and one drop-off on the final day. If you're arriving early or departing later than the scheduled end date, transportation is your responsibility. Please share your flight details with us in advance so we can coordinate timing — we won't be liable for missed flights due to late notice.
-
Pack according to your airline's baggage rules — size, weight limits, and restricted items are your responsibility to check. We're not liable for additional fees, items confiscated at security, or issues with your airline.
Waivers & Health
-
Yes. A signed travel waiver is required at least 60 days before the retreat's departure date. If we don't receive it by then, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and apply the standard cancellation fees.
-
Let us know! We'll do everything we can to accommodate you, but we can't guarantee meals for every allergy or aversion, given the nature of local Italian cooking and group dining. By booking, you acknowledge this and take responsibility for managing your own dietary needs on the ground.
-
These change. Check your country's Italian embassy and health ministry websites close to your departure date for the most current requirements.
-
The retreat involves walking and light movement. You don't need to be an athlete, but you should be in reasonable health and comfortable with gentle activity. It's your responsibility to make sure you're physically able to participate.
On the Ground
-
Rooms are double occupancy (shared with one other guest) or single occupancy. Room upgrades are available for an additional fee on a first-come, first-served basis. If an upgrade you've paid for becomes unavailable before the retreat, you'll be refunded that upgrade fee only.
-
We work hard to deliver exactly what's described, but occasionally circumstances outside our control — remodeling, overbooking, closures — may require a change. If that happens, we'll notify you in writing and do our best to find a comparable option. If you're not satisfied with the alternative, you may receive a refund for accommodation fees only.
-
We don't offer refunds for missed activities due to late arrival or no-shows. We ask that everyone arrive at meeting points 10–15 minutes early.
-
Yes. We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behavior disrupts the experience or safety of the group. In that case, no refund is given and any costs incurred — travel, accommodation, or otherwise — are the responsibility of the removed guest.
Photos & Content
-
Yes — by booking, you agree to allow The Italian Reset to use photos and video taken during the retreat for marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and promotional materials. If you have concerns about this, reach out to us before booking.
Legal & Privacy

We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties except as needed to deliver the retreat (vendors, accommodation, transportation) or as required by law.
